Inflatable Lumbar pump

This is not a gimic. The inflatable lumbar feature is an inflatable bag that runs horizontally within the lower part of the back cushion upholstery itself. It is inflated by squeezing a hand ball, very much like someone taking your blood pressure. The air is then released by simply squeezing a valve.

In conjunction with back height adjustment, it allows you to adjust and specifically target the amount of lower lumbar support into the small of your back. It also gives you the flexibility of adjusting the amount of support required at different times during the day. More than 90% of customers select this option.

Most Physiotherapists and DSE assessors recommend arms for you chair. They help reduce fatigue in the neck and shoulders and also help you get in and out of your chair.

Choose from "T-shaped" height adjustable arms, "Foldaway" height and foldaway adjustable arms or "Slide-back" height and sliding adjustable arms.

The T-shaped arms adjust to 6 different heights. Many people find that chair arms hit the leading edge of their desk.

Foldaway arms adjust to 6 heights and also rotate through 90-degrees allowing you to get right up to your desk, negating this problem, and allowing you to get to the optimum distance from your keyboard and screen.

Slide-back arms adjust to 6 different heights and also get around the desk problem by the arm pad sliding back, away from the desktop. This again allows you to adjust your sitting position to the correct distance from your keyboard and screen whilst maintaining elbow support the whole time.

All chairs and furniture come with a 5 year guarantee against material defects and manufacturing faults, subject to normal wear and tear and 8 hour usage.

Chairs will be either repaired on site, or, if necessary, at the factory. Wherever possible we will offer a loan replacement until the original chair(s) is/are returned.

When you buy something new, particularly something as important as a new chair, it's very important to be able to try it as you would use it for real, and make sure it meets your specific needs.

That's why at Bad Back Chairs we give you the opportunity to test drive from a wide range of chairs prior to purchase. To make it easy for you to identify which chairs are available to test drive, these are clearly marked with a green star. Loan Chairs come in the most popular colour, Royal Blue, but when you order you'll have the full choice of fabric colour options.

** For organisations or individuals where an existing trading relationship is not already in place, we reserve the right to request a 50% deposit that we will hold during the term of the trial. Should you decide not to proceed with the purchase of the chair, upon the chair being received back in stock in good condition, you will receive a 100% refund of the deposit you have paid.

There is a non-refundable £20 delivery charge for all chairs sent out on a Try Before You Buy basis. This amount is payable at the time of paying the refundable deposit.

We send all of our items either via third party courier or using our own transport so that they are both traceable and insured against damage in transit.

We hold the majority of the products we are selling in stock but obviously not in all of the different colours, arms, styles etc that are available. If we do not have the exact item you order in stock, we will advise you of any additional delays over and above the Estimated Delivery Time stated in the item specification above in your confirmation email.

We are sorry but we must be in possession of cleared funds before any item can be despatched.

There are a number of levels of delivery charges for items which are charged based on weight and size of the items ordered. Multiple items will unfortunately incur multiple delivery charges.

Depending upon your location the vast majority of our products will be delivered to you within 3 - 5 business days. Delivery Times

We use a number of different carriers to deliver your items and deliveries take place between 8.00am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday. Unfortunately as they will be delivering a number of items during a day - and will plan their route accordingly - it is not possible to estimate accurately exactly at what time they may be delivering to you.

Delivery Destinations

We are sorry but we do not offer delivery outside the United Kingdom. However, we can deliver to any destination on the mainland. Unfortunately excessive courier charges and poor reliability mean that we cannot deliver to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly and the Channel Islands. Delivery of Items

Depending upon what items you have ordered, it is quite possible that they may be coming from different warehouses - especially if you have ordered a mixture of seating and furniture items. In this case you will probably get 2 separate deliveries.

All items must be signed for and the courier will not leave any goods without obtaining a proof of delivery signature. Due to insurance reasons we are sorry but we cannot deliver to PO Box numbers.
